Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger in copyright case as he prepares for Bigg Boss 6

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger seems to be embroiled in copyright case as he prepares for Bigg Boss 6 with a new look. He will sport a French-cut beard for the very first time
Success doesn’t come cheap and it doesn’t come without controversies. So how Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger could succeed with its fair share of controversies and more controversies? It has made close to Rs 300 crore rupees at the box office till now and there are reasons to expect the collections to top around Rs 300 crore when it finally runs out of steam.
While Salman Khan prepares to host the Bigg Boss 6 that will seem him with an absolutely different look –French beard – and different clothes, his superlative success at the box office with Ek Tha Tiger script is now being called as copied. A little known script writer Anand Shankar Panda who has mostly remained at the margins of the industry so far has claimed that the producers have copied his story and many scenes and plots are taken from his script without any change.
He has gone to Bombay High Court and it is to be seen as to what court decides. But obviously it is going to be a long and lengthy court battle. But I fail to understand as to why Anand Shankar Panda took so long to approach the court. Was he involved in behind the scene talks with the filmmakers to sort thing out and when it failed, he approached the court.
Salman Khan’s film comes with many firsts. His latest film is reportedly the costliest film that Yashraj Films has ever produced. Insiders say, the film cost Rs 80 crores to produce and market. Another thing is the fact that Sallu Bhai has become very selective when it comes to performing in a film. Ek Tha Tiger was Sallu Bhai’s first release in the last one year and from the day one expectations were very high. And it was not without any basis. He has delivered back-to-back blockbusters during EID.
